Has anyone ever noticed that Tintin uses the same trick to escape from his pursuers in three different albums? His vehicle is destroyed, and when the bad guys go check it out, he steals their car!

The first time was in Land of the Soviets. Tintin crashes his motorbike, and puts his empty stolen uniform on the ground. When the pursuers check it out, he jumps into their car from a tree.

In the broken ear, he pushes his car from a cliff. The San Theodorans following him go to find his body, and he punches the last one out and steals their car.

Finally, in the Calculus Affair, the car he, the captain and Calculus are in crashes and they steal a Bordurian tank when its crew go and look.

Also, when Rastapopoulos tries to do this to Tintin, Tintin suspects a trap, and his car isn't stolen!

Just a common trick, I guess.

Anyway, welcome to the forums, FilmmakerPaul.

Hey, it works! He probably figured that if it fooled someone once, it'll fool them again.
