Do you "hear" the voices of the characters as you read?

Most of the words in the Tintin books are dialogue, so I was wondering if anyone besides me 'hears' the voices of the Tintin characters. If you do, how do you imagine their voices?
The way I hear the voices of the characters changes depending on when I am reading, whether I had recently watched a Tintin episode, and if I had heared someone talking in a strange voice.
Most of the time, I imagine Tintin's voice as boyish and a bit high for a male. And if he talks to himself or Snowy, it is usually in a high-ish stage whisper.
The Captain has a gravelly voice most of the time, and when he shouts, I think he sounds a bit like my french teacher when he's acting out ation movie scenes which require a lot of shouting and raised voices.
I'm not so sure about how I imagine Snowy to sound like when he "talks", but when he barks, I think he sounds a bit like my dog (who's a maltese :)).

The Captain has a rather gruff voice, which does not easily sound gentle. Tintin's voice does not sound childish at all to me, but should be mature, and perhaps even somewhat demanding.

For a less well-known character, the Poldavian consul from The Blue Lotus has a very high voice and talks very fast.
