How many years pass between "Soviets" and "Alph-Art"? Do the adventures happen in 2, 3, 4 years...?

It is an interesting question. Although the adventures were actually published in a span of about 50 years, the same cannot be said for the books themselves.

Herge had said that Tintin had his adventures when he was a teenager from mainly 14 to when he was 19. So, that would make for about 5 years when Tintin had all of his 24 adventures. He really must have been a pretty busy young man!
