Hello everyone,
I'm pleased to let you know that my book, Previously on Tintin..., is now available on Amazon.
Large A4 paperback format — 21 × 29.7 cm / 8.27 × 11.69 in — 774 pages, with no interior illustrations.
Loving Tintin is becoming mucho more dificil. Since Hergé's death in 1983, the young reporter with the quiff has been frozen in his twentieth century, and no breath of life seems able to animate him any longer: he belongs in a museum. Yet, whether we like it or not, the year 2054 will eventually arrive, and with it the entry of Tintin into the public domain. For better or for worse, Tintin will emerge from his bulletproof display case: it will mark the beginning of his second season!
While we wait for that inevitable day, here is something to refresh your memory: Previously, on Tintin... offers a detailed and passionate recap, both affectionate and unsparing, of the entire series of The Adventures of Tintin. But also of the entire Tintinverse: every Hergé series, even the most obscure; every adaptation, even the most impure. From Le Boy-Scout magazine in 1926 to the Peter Jackson film project announced in 2026, each work provides an opportunity for a fresh reading, enriched by hidden references, often unexpected historical context, and reflections unburdened by received wisdom.
Want to be ready for season two? Then don't skip the recap!
