Anthony Horowitz's book The Name is Murder is a fictional murder mystery novel.
However, it includes many details from his real life, including a near-verbatim recollection of his work on the Jackson/Spielberg Tintin sequel.

Moderator Note: Hi, and welcome! It's an interesting point you raise - however, we had to remove the substantial passage which you had transcribed, as it was far too long and complete to be regarded as an illustration of the matter at hand, and might have got us into trouble, copyright-wise.
It would probably also need some corroboration from other sources that the incident as described were "near verbatim", rather than a cleverly fictionalized presentation of things that might have occurred.
