I was wondering if anyone knows any Hergé's thoughts about rock/pop music of his era, like the Beatles, Elvis, Stones etc.

He did listen to music, and even - considering his age - took some interest in "contemporary" pop; he had a home stereo system of which he was proud, and it is now on display in the Hergé Museum.
I don't know off the top of my head about the acts you mention, but by the late sixties, early seventies, he was a fan of Pink Floyd.
