The events in this book are occuring where a meteroite is the centre of subject. When reading Dan Brown’s book Deception Point, it reminded me The Shooting Star. What a chance that the meteroite in this book is also found in Arctic.
Any similarites you found? (The ones who read the book, of course)

Maybe Moulinsart should sue Dan Brown, everyone else seems to.

Oo Rik, you seem to spot the main theme of thread immediatly.
I was thinking to add some other similarites, but it seems there is no need.

The only similarity between Deception Point and The Shooting Star is that both Herge and Dan Brown seem to have been searching for inspiration in the news.

In the case of Deception Point it is rather obvious that Dan Brown used as a starting point for his book the announcement of NASA that they found a rock from Mars on the North Pole, containing something that could be bacteria, and, of course, the Lewinski scandal.
