According to the Oxford English Dictionary, a wobbler is a person who wobbles! Hahaha!

Hey that's a good one (laughs).
By the way, why are you named after a chocolate bar?

Hey that's a good one (laughs).

Isn't it a scream! I do wonder if such a book really existed. It could be a data entry error, an April Fool's joke... but you would not expect that sort of thing (glaring booboo) from Global Books in Print - one of the tools libraries rely on to make purchases! Anyhow, if anyone knows more about this title, please share!

By the way, why are you named after a chocolate bar?

Back in the Middle Ages when I was at primary school, everyone in class had a nickname; I think other pupils started calling me 'marsbar' because I was teh sweetest person at school! Nah, it was more likely because of my surname (Mar).

Amazon lists the 'Wobbler' but gives no clues as to what it is. Published by Egmont in the US...

Intriguing!

First one to post here what the Tintin Wobbler really is - in some detail and preferably with some kind of proof (if that's possible) - no guesses and no generalisations (eg. "a book"), I will send, postally, free of any charge, a drawing (by me, sorry, not Hergé) of Tintin actually wobbling.

A little bit of fun!

Wobbler in swedish is a sort fishing-bait. It looks like a small plastic fish and floats, when it is reeled in it dives and is mostly used for catching pikes or other sweetwater fish of similar size. I guess it got its name from the wobbling motion it does when reeled in.

Sorry if this has nothing to do with our hero.

And here I thought we were talking about a bobble-head doll, which I'd eagerly buy up and immediately stick on the dashboard of my car if such a thing existed. I think Tintin's round little head would translate nicely to a bobblehead, teehee. :D
