It may be that it is just my imagination but Tintin had many near death situation and some of what-ifs still makes me shudder.

The pouring of liquid polyester on Tintin to create a statue with a corpse inside!!(Tintin and Alph-Art)

Haddock, Calculus and the Thom(p)sons stranded in the far-out moon forever in the Explorers on the Moon!!

Imagine what would have happened if Tharke had not returned to rescue Tintin and Haddock in Tibet!!

Tintin and Snowy turned into canned food and other meat items and sent to the market!!(Tintin in America)
Anyone fancy?
