It may have been a nice Pinot Noir which you generally have chilled.
I think, it's quite possibly an example of Tintin being a good host, something to have on hand for guests if required..
As Balthazar points out, Tintin would not be adverse to having a glass now and then with meals..

Maybe it's not wine, it could be grape juice. The bottles look exactly like wine bottles.
