Hi
A fairly easy one to get more people playing. Which of the main characters does (or did) a martial art, what martial art is it, and where do we see them do it?

Well done. Savate, or french boxing, as seen on page 7. Your turn, but remember - you have 48 hours.

In the original Ile Noire, Wronzoff (Pushov) practises the jiu-jitsu, whereas Tintin himself practises the 'savate' (p.52)!
Tintin is a main character, and is present in eleven more many albums than Calculus...

Maybe there are more weird links between L'Ile Noir* & Flight 714, the Tintin adventure that takes place in Sondonesia, i.e. the East Indies* ?

What about the Black Island's English version? Does Tintin practise the savate too?

Well done, yamilah, that extra information is very interesting, I believe that you should also have a point. Yes, Tintin does say in the french original version, that he is doing savate, but in the english final version, he says that he is giving a straight left to the jaw, I suppose as english readers wouldn't know what it is.

If I am permitted, I will give both lab. road 26 and yamilah points, as this is exceptionnal circumstances. If member labrador road 26 doesn't post a question in 48 hours, yamilah can do it.
