I would like to purchase a Moulinsart Figurine of Tintin in the Black Shark Submarine. Does anybody know where I can buy one?

I think Moulinsart are planning to make a resin one in the "Images mythiques" series - so far there's the Blue Lotus vase, the Moon rocket, the Ottokar sceptre, the Broken Ear canoe and Snowy on a pillow. The submarine is a proposed future model.

There's also the plastic figure series that they've just started, of the bookcovers - released so far are The Crab with the Golden Claws and The Broken Ear. So Rackham is bound to be done soon.

Existing models - Pixi made some a few years back, but they're rather small and expensive. Aroutcheff made a wooden one too, which looked very nice but again was very costly. You might be able to find one on eBay, but I think the official shops have long since run out of stock.

Richard: Thanks for the great info. I own a Moulinsart resin Blue Lotus vase and moon rocket and think they are excellent quality. If Moulinsart is planning a submarine in the future then it is worth waiting. Thanks again for the reply!

This may be common knowledge to most Tintin fans, but this prediction was accurate. I ordered the Moulinsart Shark Submarine model and it is being shipped. Tintin Shop Uk is sold out at the moment. Looks like a great model.
