In The Red Sea Sharks (p.28), the password 'The dogs bark, the caravan passes by' is uttered by the Arab guide.

In which book is this proverb drawn in two parts, namely the dogs barking, then a caravan passing by, pages later?
Please quote book + dogs' page + caravan's page + location.

Since English isn't my first language I might have gotten this wrong.

In The Black Island both Snowy and Müller's dog is seen barking and then Tintin stops a car with a "caravan" in Sussex.

Snowy barks chasing a cat on page 5.
Snowy "GRRs" the goat on page 9, not sure if this qualifies as a bark.
Snowy makes a some barks on page 12.
Müllers dog barks chasing Tintin and Snowy on page 14, Snowy also cries some barking on same page.
Snowy barks at the firefighter on page 22.
The car with caravan stops on page 29.

Since the caravan doesn't really pass Tintin but stops before I'm not sure this is the answer you were looking for.

Snowy might also be barking at the plane in the last frame on page 1, no speech (bark) bubble is drawn.

I don't understand your bonus question.

Correct! Eastdown, Sussex is the only place where dogs (plural) bark and are followed by a caravan -that passed by your eyes- later in the same album.
Congratulations labrador road 26!

It's purely academic but I thought I'd mention that the actual phrase in the English book is “the dogs bark and the camels pass”.

Another reminder then: Rule 2 of the guidelines states "Questions should be based on the English language colour edition Tintin books."
