You're right :-)

My heart beats fast when I think of exploring this book and comparing it to the shorter colored version I grow up to love all my life ;-)

I've held up for 7 hours now, let's see how much longer can I hold....

This seems exciting! You are lucky! When was this book published? I am sure this was never published in English. Is there any change in plot? More information is appreciated. Thanks!

Wow that's pretty cool, especially cos it's in french, i don't really find the appeal of the english tintin so this is great, don't get me wrong i love tintin, but i have all the editions in french (my mothers french) one of my favourite stories

Le Soir reran the daily strips of Licorne last year, then published this book in association with Moulinsart containing the story plus commentary. It was a promotional thing at first (you had to have a voucher from the newspaper to buy a copy), but the Tintin Shop in Brussels freely sold the book, and I think the Covent Garden shop got some copies.

For Hergé's 100th birthday this year they published the second part, A la recherche du trésor de Rackham le Rouge (On the hunt for Red Rackham's Treasure) in the same manner. It's worth checking the Covent Garden shop every now and then. Failing that, eBay can doubtless provide ...

Edit: Store.Tintin.com has both volumes available for 15€ each; look under Editions Moulinsart or search for "Licorne" and "Rackham".

I don't know if you can find these books in Ireland; I'd imagine they're quite rare outside of Belgium. Store.Tintin.com deliver internationally, as does The Tintin Shop. This London branch is your best option as their postage costs are very reasonable. It might be worth getting in touch with them - sometimes they get stock that doesn't appear on the website.
