After checking out the funniest frames, how about telling us which frames in "The Adventures of Tintin" are the most touching to you?

In my case, the tenth frame on page 28 of "Cigars of The Pharaoh" is one of these: Tintin is buried with the epitaph ALI-BHAI ~SPY~. Lying down on the tomb is Snowy, crying for the loss of his master, saying:

"...I shall never see him again...[Howls]...The only thing left for me is to stay here and die on his grave..."

That frame still touches me!

Which frames in the books make you feel this way?

"My poor Zorrino, Tintin's gone. We shall never see him again."

In general Snowy's cry breaks my heart, no matter what the scene is. My dog is exactly like snowy what comes to his behavior - a real cry baby, and his sorrow makes me sad :(

You're right! I love dogs and I can't stand seeing them crying, not even the ones in comic books.

Remember when Tintin goes to the meteorite without him in "The Shooting Star". Snowy could not be consoled, even when he was offered a lot of food (and we all know how much he likes to eat)! Awwww...!

It's really touching when the Tibetan monks bow in deferance to Tintin at the end of Tintin in Tibet. Tintin does not at all realize that he is a hero, and is so humble, but even the Grand Abbot highly respects him.

That was so spiritual as well!

Yeah, I guess it was, but I was just thinking of how until that moment Tintin did not realize that he was a hero.

The image that always stands out in my mind is when Tintin finds the teddy bear in the plane wreckage in Tintin in Tibet. There's something really moving about that scene. In the same book, Tintin wearing Chang's scarf after retrieving it from the cliff face is really touching.

Coincidentally, both involve Tchang, for me. The first is on the last page of "The Blue Lotus" where he expresses his thanks for becoming Mr. Wang's adopted son. The other is also in Tibet (face it, the whole book is touching, what with our hero's devotion to his friend) where Tintin finds Tchang's name carved on the rock... it was like a sign that his efforts hadn't been in vain.
