Hi all,

I've been reading some of all your previous posts and it seems like someone maybe able to help me...(this is my first post)...

I bought a limited edition box set of Tintin (24 colour books) in Paris during the 100-year anniversary of Herge at the Pompidou Centre in 2006/2007.

Since then it's pretty much been locked away, but I've recently found book no. 20, Tintin in Tibet has gone missing!!

I've been onto the publishers, printers, distributers, shops in Paris and London (from Australia), but can't seem to track down a replacement.

The books are the new small size, which you can purchase individually now, but they have very different back covers etc.

I realise I'm fighting a losing battle, but am rather desperate as this is the best Tintin item I have!

Does anyone have any ideas for me at all??

Cheers!

I think no one would ever sell a single book out of their limited edition box set. Obviously, those guys will be equally passionate about the same... I think its better off for you to try and search your lost book instead of looking elsewhere. The only possible way to replace your book is to buy another limited edition box set, but that's outrageous!!!

Sorry, I didn't mean that someone would want to sell the book from their set...just hoping that someone might have ideas about similar re-prints and the like.
