German Tintin flexible rubber figure - can anyone date this?

hi, i have a twist and bend flexible rubber over wire 6" Tintin figure. The bottom of one of the shoes is marked "made in Germany-AUSL-PAT."
i am hoping someone can help me determine the maker and an approximate date this toy was made. here are a few image links....
