I was at an outlet village near Bicester yesterday, and was surprised to find in the branch of Books Etc. there copies of Tintin and Co. by Michael Farr reduced to 5.99 - down from 18.99. A good deal - has anyone else seen it reduced?

Well, not as such - "outlets" such as these (there are all sorts of shops there) are used to dispense with last years styles and over-stocks of items, or seconds (items which may have some very minor defect which means that it it won't be sold as perfect); I was just surprised to find that the Books Etc. had a recent title at such a good price. The books weren't defective, and even if they came from a closed down shop, I would have thought that they would have just ferried them to somewhere else.
Still, I'm not complaining, as I got a bargain book!
