Here are photos of my toy collection if anyone is curious. I have a lot more stuff in boxes, but these pieces are my favorite. Basically pics of my favorite comics/cartoons/movies - Hayoa Miyazaki, Tintin, Lucky Luke, Asterix, Kirikou, Transformers, G.I. Joe, Future Boy Conan, Astro Boy, Barbapapa.

The two white Tintin and Haddock busts were found in a Barcelona art shop.
The big wood Tintin and Haddocks (2 of them) were found in Geneva and New York City flea markets.
The two rubber big Thompson twins were found in an antique shop in NYC.
The porcelain tintin figurines were found in a Geneva flea market.
The plastic Tintin toys were found in comic shops of Geneva & Paris.
The clay squating Tintin (he's taking a poop) was found in a Barcelona shop.

Moderator Note: Please note that we cannot have links to images of fan-art or unofficial merchandise; it could lead to the site being shut down, and legal action being taken against us.

It also has to be pointed out that at no point would an image of Tintin “taking a poop” be considered appropriate for posting to these forums, and it is disappointing that you thought it would be.
Please help us by abiding by the forum rules and posting guidelines.

Sorry, i thought this was the correct forum to post tintin collectibles. And concerning a "tintin statue taking a poop" (which cant even be seen in my photo) is just as disappointing as Tintin's sexuality being discussed in another thread.

As odd as it might sound, those miniature statues of somebody taking a poop are a centuries old Catalan Christmas tradition. The Spanish (or Catalan?) name for them is "caganer" if I'm not mistaken. So as weird as it might sound, that slightly controversial item is actually a sort of homage to Tintin (which of course doesn't change the fact that such statue is a copyright infringement).

I don't know why or when exactly that tradition started, but those miniature statues of various characters are everywhere if you visit Barcelona by Christmas holidays.

From Wikipedia:

Possible reasons for placing a man who is in the act of excreting waste in a scene which is widely considered holy include:

1. Tradition.
2. Perceived humor.
3. Finding the Caganer is a fun game, especially for children.
4. The Caganer, by creating feces, is fertilizing the Earth. However, this is probably an a posteriori explanation, and few cite this reason for including the Caganer in the Nativity scene.
5. The Caganer represents the equality of all people: regardless of status, race, or gender, everyone defecates.
6. Increased naturalism of an otherwise archetypal (thus idealised) story, so that it is more believable, taken literally and seriously.
7. The idea that God will manifest himself when he is ready, without regard for whether we human beings are ready or not.
8. The caganer reinforces that the infant Jesus is God in human form, with all that being human implies.
9. The practice is tolerated by the local Catholic church.

Always happy to help... I remember being rather baffled (to say the least) when I first saw them. What? A christmas tradition? These???

Rather funny items, but I didn't buy one... (maybe I would've if Rastapopoulos had been an option).

There was a Christmas Poo in South Park. So they must have got the idea from somewhere.
