A few years ago I bought 2 paperback colouring in books published by Methuen, the titles of the books are in Spanish. Anyone ever come across these before?

There have been many colouring-in books, released in a lot of languages (well, with titles in different languages at least!), although I’ve a feeling that they probably stem from some original series somewhere, and then were re-cycled ad nauseam for many years.
I’m not sure how widly avaialble any of them were, but in the U.K. there was an orange coloured cover for a book based on the Moon adventures which seemed to be readily available in the seventies and eighties.

Are your books thematic, based around albums, or just random pictures?

My mistake, on the back it says Casterman, 1976, they are called ' Cuaderno De Pinturas Tintin' also on the front it say's Juventud, publisher maybe?

Yes I've still got one I bought when I was about 9 years-old. It's got different activities in it, not just colouring in, such as: join the dots, wordfinds, unjumble the words, spot the different and more.
