What are "Les aventures de Saint-Tin et son ami Lou"? Is that another one of those Tintin-spinoffs? What can you tell me about them (although NOT where to get them, of course)?

Apparently it's a series of humoristic text books, not comics, which pokes fun at Tintin and co., giving them absurd names and situations just loosely connected to Herge's originals. One such character is called Aiglefin, which is the French for "Haddock".

They are published by Le Léopard Masqué ("The Masked Leopard") which specialises in such books. Another book is called the "Calimity X-Men". Poor Stan Lee. Here's their website.

Here's an extract for the French readers among us. Link removed Apparently this book is a send-up of "L'Étoile mystérieuse" ("The Shooting Star"), and is here renamed "Les poils mystérieux" (I suppose an English translation would be "The Shooting Hair").

Gordon Zola (a pen-name I believe) is the main contributor to the series, but one book was actually written by Bob Garcia (see here).
