I found an interesting little ligne clare webcomic here, written by Ben Bova and Rob Balder, and illustrated by Bill Holbrook. It's pretty short at this point (16 pages) but I found the artwork and the story to be rather interesting.

Interesting comic, Captain, and nice to see, but it just doesn’t say ligne-claire to me: too much variable line-weight, and lots of hatching to define volume and light and shade.

What was it that you saw in it that made you think it was?
