Has Tintin ever been novelised?

I was wondering if the Tintin books were ever novelised?

I remember a few years ago in The Tintin Shop, a guy claimed to have read a novelization of Tintin, and that he had some copies. I guess he was lying, but this wasn't the first time I had heard this.

Someone else also said they had a 250 page book of The Black Island - no, I'm pretty sure this is rubbish, or unofficial.

I checked it out on-line and couldn't find anything. Has anyone ever come across one of these?

Are you thinking of "Tintin in the New World" by Frederic Tuten?

Don't bother reading it. The novel is absolute crap. No, I've never heard of the original Tintin albums being available in novel form.

Yeah I have heard that.I think the people who claimed to have these novelizations were lying or they had got it confused with another book.Tintin wouldn't be the same as a Novel.
