Hello.
I read somewhere that Thomson and Thompson said: "In fact, we were born with moustaches!"

Anyone have any idea where that came from, and what the entire quote is?

It comes from the scene during their trial in "Tintin and the Picaros". I don't have the book with me at the moment, but basically the prosecutor is implying that having a moustache is a sign of loyalty towards Tapioca and his ally, the Bordurian dictator Kûrvi-Tasch, and that they grew such moustaches as a duplicitous means of getting to and killing Tapioca.

The Thompsons answer back by claiming that they have had moustaches "depuis notre plus tendre enfance" ("since our most tender childhood").
