I have a copy of Vol 714 pour Sydney; this copy is an editio princeps and it has a printed inscription on the fly-leaf which reads:

EDITIO PRINCEPS
OFFERTE PAR HERGÉ
ET LES
ÉDITIONS CASTERMAN
À L’OCCASION DU COCKTAIL
“VOL 714 POUR SYDNEY”
DONNÉ À PARIS
LE 16 MAI 1968.

It has a facsimile signature of Hergé, and a manuscript autograph by Hergé in blue pen.

It is dedicated to an Australian photographer who must have been at the launch.
I have purchased it in Australia...

Can any one tell me of its potential value?

Here's a copy which sold recently on eBay.
Another sold at auction for slightly less about a year ago

The BDM price guide lists it as 600/700 Euros.

A copy in perfect condition sold in the October 2010 Tintin auction at Artcurial for 2,252 Euros with commission.

Assuming that the condition of the book is average to good, perhaps it might be reasonable to expect a value of around 1,000 Euros, taking into account the extra signature.
