Hardcover Tintin books: where to buy?

It is really hard to find them here in USA. How can I find hard cover editions?

Also, I recently bought some softcover Little-Brown editions, printed in China, and I am very disappointed: the character's speech font in the bubble, is of low quality and there are no traditional blue collage images on the insert pages.

I own four of the Little-Brown editions, printed in Belgium, and they are true to the original.

Anyone else noticed this?

I assume you're referring to the new font? The lettering was digitized back in 2006, the original was a hand-lettered script (read all about it here).

Are these hardcover editions?
I've never been sure whether hardback editions exist of the U.S. Little, Brown editions.

My advice would be would be to keep a look out for old second hand hardbacks from online dealers (get Methuen, if it's the old lettering and paper you want, or Little, Brown, assuming they exist).

Thanks for the response. No, these are soft-cover editions, but of higher quality (Printed in Belgium). I recently ordered directly from hachettebookgroup.com, and even though they promised me that they are printed in Belgium (although still in soft-cover) to my surprise they were the lower quality, printed in China editions. Where do I find those older editions?

Thanks!
