Explorers on the Moon: Tank crew mistake?

In the final outing in the space tank where only Tintin and Wolff are left behind where did the second Thompson twin sit? The tank had only space for three persons???? Was this a mistake?

There must have been some compartment inside the tank where they could store the moon suits and may have been big enough for four suits and one man.

Interesting point. I'd never noticed that before. I agree with mct that there'd probably be room inside the tank for a fourth person, but it can't have been much fun for the second Thom[p]son not being able to see out. It's hard to know why they'd have taken him along, so I guess it's mostly just due to being a necessary plot device to leave Tintin on his own with Wolff and Jorgen.
