It has been reported that Kathleen Kennedy, who was one of the producers of the recent The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of The Unicorn, is to leave The Kennedy/Marshall Company to become the co-chair of George Lucas's Lucasfilm Ltd.

Ms. Kennedy has had a long and distinguished career in the film industry, and has been chosen for her new position as Mr. Lucas moves towards retiring from the active running of the organization (although he remains as CEO at this time).

Steven Spielberg has offered his congratulations and support to her in the new rôle.

It is to be presumed that she will not be producing any further movies in the Tintin series.
