Hi,

I've searched on here but haven't been able to find any info...
Am keen to collect of get a couple of the figurines with the passports.
Anyone know whether these can be ordered from the official site for the UK?
Or can anyone offer any other advice / options?

Thanks!

I think that these are only currently available in France and Belgium through newsagents as a part-work: it's one of those "builds-up-month-by-month" collections things.

There seems to be regional limitations to where they are allowed to sell these things to, but you might be lucky and find some way to get them delivered to a non-Belgium/ France address; other than that, you might have to go second-hand somewhere like eBay.

I have seen these selling on ebay. The ones I have seen are selling roughly between £12 and £24. Not sure how tall they are. On ebay UK type 'Tintin figures' (without quotation marks) and you will probably see some come up. You can also do a worldwide search on ebay using the advanced search option. If you want to see Tintin figures from France or Belgium then I suggest you type 'Tintin figurines' (again without quotation marks). French speaking countries usually use the word 'figurines'.

Some are available from the Tintin shop in Covent Garden.

Will these ever be released in the U.K.?

Doesn't seem likely; I've contacted the distributor in the past, about other Tintin-themed releases they have made, and they had no plans or intention of extending the range of availability (they may be limited by other rights issues).
Not to say they won't, just on past experience they seem unlikely to do so.
