Where can I get the original French version of Tintin Au Pays de l'Or Noir (Land of Black Gold), before the changes were made, e.g. the scene where Tintin is kidnapped after he is mistaken for a Mr Finkelstein (amongst others)?

The 1950 colour version of Au Pays de l'Or Noir was re-issued as a facsimile and is still available from a number of outlets; try Casterman, or Amazon, or the official Tintin boutique, etc. But if you were looking for an original copy of the book try an online auction site, such as ebay.

The original b/w incompleted version is still unavailable as a stand alone item, but I think it was re-published in one of those collected anthologies, somebody may know which...?

I believe a new publication is planned as part of the continuing Archives Tintin series, published by Éditions Atlas (website in French here). It's subscription only, but copies do appear on eBay quite regularly. It was published by Rombaldi in the 1980s as part of their L'oeuvre intégrale d'Hergé, & appears in reduced form in volume 7.
