Identification Needed: Character portraits used for adverting?

I saw these pictures of heads of Tintin characters -- Tintin, Haddock, Snowy, Calculus -- on a storefront.
These were approximately 12" x 12" and seemed to be from a calendar.
Each picture had the head shot of only one character.
Can anyone please tell me where these are from? Perhaps, the year of the calendar? I have looked online but been unable to locate the source or where I can buy them. Thanks!

They may have been used in a calendar somewhere, but my guess is that they are advertising items to promote the Michael Farr character book series - small square books, each featuring one of the characters shown in your pictures (the square portraits were used on the covers).
They could have been distributed by the publisher, or the book chain that the shop belongs to, but I can't recall seeing them anywhere else, so can't really say. They might even have been made up by the shop itself, if those plastic holders they are in are part of its regular window displays.

Just out of interest, whats the book title of the one located in the lower right of the picture?
It's the one showing Sir Francis Haddock..

Did you end up getting a price from the store for those pictures also? Or were they simply for display?
Also where was this store located?

This is a French pop-up book of "Secret of the Unicorn". See this French book site for an example page. It's available from Amazon.

Thanks, jock123! These pictures are indeed the same as the ones that appear on Farr's character books. The reason why I assumed that these portraits were from a calendar is that each square picture sheet had a small round hole at the middle of one side.

Rodney -- These pictures were simply for display and not for sale. The owner of the store could not remember the source of these pictures. This is a small store called Crackerjack in Seattle.

A reasonable enough assumption, but the same might hold true for advertising cards, I suppose, if they were made to be hung from the ceiling, or atleast offer that as an option.
But as I said, I don't know for certain that there wasn't a calendar like that (it might have been for the book-trade); the way to tell would be if there was a month with dates on the back of at least some of the pictures, which is how that sort of calendar works in most cases, in my experience.
Any way to find out?
And good to see a bookshop stocked with such a large range of Tintin stuff in more than one language!
