Thomson and Thompson: Which detective do you prefer?

This might be sort of irrelevant, but I was curious: do people tend to like one Thom(p)son more than the other? Yeah, they're inseparable, but I have a slight impression that Thomson is more leading/speaks more, I don't know.

Even so, for some reason I think I sympathize with Thompson a bit more.

What about you?, do you prefer one of them?

I never really known the difference between them given the fact that they are identically dressed and identically bungling. So I identically like them both.
