You know, this doesn't really mean anything, but I found it interesting when I reread Castafiore Emerald nevertheless.
When Castafiore is fussing over Haddock in the gardens her two complaints are that his jersey isn't fit for a man his age, and his hair is messy. And if you flip a few pages over, the next day, Haddock redressed himself in a clean cut suit & neatened out his hair. Then later, after Castafiore blames him for the first time ever, he looks very put out. Maybe Haddock takes Castafiore into higher regard then he thinks? |
