Hergé appeared twice in Part 1 of The Black Island:

: In Part 2, (27:00) Hergé is in the dining car when the waiter catches the chicken flung into the air during a chase.

: (25:00) Hergé is in the the audience listening to Castafiore sing when Tintin crashes through the glass window.
