Its actually going to be published 30th September, but Dymocks said bookshops would likely not recieve stock until December sometime! That's a long wait!

If you're really desperate, Tintinrulz, you could get it imported. I did that about 10 years ago when I wanted Tintin in the Congo. Might be worth the wait though if you don't want things to get complicated!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think I'll wait till it comes out in Australia. I'd rather pay $25 for it than the $40 it would for importing it. I bought Congo and Soviets from French sites about 5 years ago (before they reprinted them).

The long wait is over: the new edition Tintin and Alph-Art is now available in Australia. I got my copy this morning from my local Dymocks bookshop. Fans should expect to pay around AUD25.00 for the book.

Yes, I finally got it also. I actually like the look of this edition and the extra "lost" pages are interesting (even if there are few). I bought mine from Dymocks also.

I am very curious about the book Alph-Art.

Is it the 24th book? What happened to Hergé before he could complete the book - did he die of old age?

Is it a comic book, or a series of sketches made by Hergé?

I read somewhere that Alph-Art is a book with some rough sketches made by Hergé, I could be wrong, or is it a comic? I need some answer, thanks.
